Hong Kong — HashKey Capital and Nasdaq-listed AI firm AMBR have announced a strategic partnership to integrate task-oriented AI agents into the financial and digital asset sectors. Unveiled during Hong Kong FinTech Week by AMBR CEO Michael Wu and HashKey Capital CEO Deng Chao, the collaboration merges AMBR’s AI infrastructure with HashKey’s global fund management expertise.

HashKey Capital and AMBR to Explore AI-Powered Financial Workflows

The two companies will explore the responsible application of AI agent architectures across core financial workflows, moving beyond simple informational overlays. Their joint efforts will focus on operational automation, institutional client services, and investment research within high-stakes, high-velocity market environments. To ensure secure integration, the partnership will adhere to three foundational principles: maintaining human oversight, establishing clear boundaries of autonomy, and keeping data firmly under control.

Deng Chao highlighted that the financial sector is rapidly transitioning toward AI agents capable of operating in 24/7, data-dense environments. Michael Wu added that AI is shifting from merely answering questions to executing real work, emphasizing that trust in finance is earned through strict operational limits and human supervision.

What the AI Partnership Means for HashKey Capital and AMBR

This initiative marks HashKey’s first early strategic engagement with AI agent technologies and AMBR’s first major partnership since its business transformation. Furthermore, the collaboration will provide AMBR clients with expanded access to HashKey Capital’s product offerings. Both firms view this as a preliminary milestone in their joint pursuit of an agentic future.
