When the worldâs biggest Bitcoin believers gather, itâs never just about blocks and chains. Itâs about signal rising above the noiseâa theme that takes center stage at BitcoinAsia 2025, returning August 28â29 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This yearâs conference, organized by Bitcoin Magazine and BTC Inc., has no shortage of fireworks. The headline announcement: Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization and son of U.S. President Donald Trump, will deliver the keynote address. With Trump Sr. himself headlining the mainline Nashville conference last year, political threads at Bitcoin gatherings are now undeniably part of the story.
But the real richness lives in the programming: a two-day deep dive spanning technology, policy, adoption, and cross-border perspectives.
For the technically inclined, sessions like âCan Bitcoin Succeed Without Another Soft Fork?â and âAnalyzing the History of Node Implementationsâ promise lively debates among developers and protocol veterans. Meanwhile, panels such as âWhat Features Does Bitcoin Need for Global Adoption?â and âHistorical Lessons With Bitcoin Native Assets & How We Can Move Forwardâ invite both pragmatists and purists to weigh in on the path ahead.
Asiaâs role in crypto innovation gets special attention with âWhere Do Stablecoins Fit in Asiaâs Financial Future?â And in a highlight much anticipated by policy watchers, a Taiwan delegation of scholars, lawyers, and industry leaders will take the stage for âTaiwanâs Approach to Bitcoin Policy & Regulation.â Expected speakers include Sherman Lin of Lin and Partners, Professor Lin Meng-Shiang of Ming Chuan University and the Consumersâ Foundation , and Jeff Wen, co-founder of Hayek Technology.
Also, corporate treasurers and finance chiefs may find inspiration in âWhy Bitcoin is the Only Digital Asset That Works for Corporate Treasuries.â
With a mix of technical rigor, policy sparring, and headline-grabbing names, BitcoinAsia 2025 looks set to be both a developerâs lab and a geopolitical stageâHong Kongâs own proof-of-work.
