Blockchain Founders Fund Named Best Early-Stage Blockchain VC in APAC

Blockchain Founders Fund (BFF), a global early-stage venture capital firm focused on Web3 startups, has been recognized as the Best Early-Stage Blockchain Venture Capital Fund 2026 at the APAC Insider Singapore Business Awards. The achievement marks the third consecutive year that the firm has received recognition from the awards program, highlighting its growing influence in the blockchain investment ecosystem.

The award comes after a successful year for BFF and its portfolio companies. One of its early investments, Backed Finance, a tokenized asset platform, was acquired by cryptocurrency exchange Kraken. Another portfolio company, Roundtable (RTB Digital), successfully became a publicly traded company on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Additionally, startups such as TransFi and Kredete, both backed by BFF, surpassed eight-figure annual revenues, reflecting the commercial success of the firm’s investment strategy.

With this recognition, Blockchain Founders Fund joins a list of notable organizations previously honored by the Singapore Business Awards, including Singtel, Trust Bank, NTT, YouTrip, Antler, and Avis Budget Group for driving innovation across the Asia-Pacific region.

BFF primarily invests in pre-seed and seed-stage blockchain startups, providing not only funding but also operational support to help founders scale their businesses. The firm’s hands-on investment model assists entrepreneurs with business strategy, product positioning, go-to-market execution, strategic hiring, and fundraising, enabling startups to accelerate their growth from early development to commercial success.

Leadership Insights: Driving Innovation in Digital Finance

Speaking on the recognition, Aly Madhavji, Managing Partner at Blockchain Founders Fund, said the firm’s focus has always been on supporting founders who are transforming the way money and digital value move across the internet. He noted that many of the companies backed by BFF have gone on to attract millions of users, generate significant revenue, secure acquisitions, or achieve public listings, demonstrating the long-term impact of the firm’s investment approach.

Mansoor Madhavji, Partner at BFF, added that the firm aims to help founders quickly bridge the gap between building a working product and achieving meaningful commercial traction by combining capital with strategic guidance.

Since its launch, Blockchain Founders Fund has built a portfolio of more than 200 startups spanning decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain infrastructure, enterprise blockchain, and other Web3 sectors. The firm continues to actively invest in promising early-stage blockchain ventures worldwide, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the next generation of innovators shaping the future of digital finance and decentralized technologies.
