Crypto.com said it would continue pursuing a separate virtual asset trading platform licence for its institutional exchange through Foris DAX HK Limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Hong Kong entity submitted its VATP licence application on February 9, 2024. However, the regulator\u2019s public register continues to list the application under \u201cdeemed-to-be-licensed\u201d status, a transitional designation that does not represent full approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company has not identified the specific regulatory changes behind the consumer app withdrawal.
