Meanwhile, Ethereum has remained under pressure, with recent market data placing ETH near $2,339. Investors are now watching the Federal Reserve&#8217;s October 28 interest-rate decision, institutional investment flows, corporate earnings and the growing risks associated with decentralized finance (DeFi) lending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond price movements, developments involving South Korea&#8217;s cryptocurrency taxation, Israel&#8217;s proposed use of blockchain technology and institutional tokenization initiatives are creating new discussions about digital assets&#8217; role in global finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Bitcoin Faces a Crucial Test as Federal Reserve Decision Approaches<\/strong> <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bitcoin enters the final week of October near the psychologically important $80,000 level after experiencing significant volatility throughout the previous trading week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cryptocurrency briefly approached $85,000 before retreating as institutional fund flows weakened and broader financial markets faced selling pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to recent market reports, US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $635.6 million in net outflows on October 22, followed by another $137.9 million on October 23. Economists largely expect the central bank to maintain its benchmark interest-rate range at 3.75% &#8211; 4.00%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investors will pay particular attention to the accompanying press conference and indications about future monetary easing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A cautious Federal Reserve could strengthen the US dollar and pressure risk-sensitive assets, including Bitcoin.
