The total market cap is now estimated at US$3.5 trillion, with Bitcoin\u2019s market cap exceeding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fidelitydigitalassets.com\/research-and-insights\/maturation-digital-assets\"><strong>US$2 trillion<\/strong><\/a>. In this evolving environment, jurisdictions such as Hong Kong are tightening standards for custody arrangements. The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has urged Virtual Asset Trading Platforms (VATPs) to review and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hubbis.com\/news\/sfc-elaborates-on-robust-custody-standards-for-virtual-asset-trading-platforms-to-safeguard-client-virtual-assets\"><strong>strengthen their custody practices<\/strong><\/a> in light of observed vulnerabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For global infrastructure providers like Fireblocks, integrating locally licensed custody partners is becoming a necessity to offer full compliance across jurisdictions.
